Our molding process applies pressure and heat to shape the packaging from “one” flat paperboard. This is not new for simple squared forms, it is however unique for rounded and shaped packaging. Furthermore, our technology largely avoids wrinkles on the surface and by increasing the precision of the shape a second cut of the surface can be avoided. A special paperboard was developed to suit particularly for this (KG board 7). This paper is one of the solutions to the problem of microplastic (MP).

Wooden box with a paper lid which applies our original method called “Fukashibori” to assemble. The texture of wood and a customisable paper lid can create various printing effects. This package is suitable to pack food or use as a lunch box. (Paper type: KG board 7)

“Paper Clear in Box” is a registered trademark of Ipax.The material for this packaging is PET non-woven fabric over transparent PET clear board giving it the appearance of Japanese washi paper. The semi-transparent box shows the silhouette of the contents. The surface feels like paper giving the product an unique impression. It is not only suitable for Japanese-style products, but can be used for any style. The special plastic board was developed in collaboration with a plastic materials manufacturer exclusively for this packaging. Printing can be easily done with a normal ink jet printer so that any changes can be easily corresponded. Those new idea creates a new standard to package clear case field. This is new kind of packaging that mixes Japanese design sense and warmth. We are considering to expand this technology to interior design, shop displays, light covers among others.

“This completely new cylindrical packaging is produced using a special method. It is covered by a PET non-woven fabric over clear PET board giving it the appearance of traditional Japanese washi paper. The semi-transparent effect of this unique packaging gives the product a premium look and makes it stand out from other products. This product provides many customization options to meet customers’ needs. The use of PET reduces the weight to only one-seventh of a metal can and is also easy to dispose. Compared to metal cans, the production quantity and timing is more flexible. Diameter range is 70 – 205mm, maximum height is 300mm.

This unique can-shaped paper package has an eye-catching dome-shaped PET cover on the top. This structure gives this package a quite unique impression. Used by a world-famous florist and several apparel brands. It is also used for Ise-tea from Mie prefecture, which was selected as a gift for guests at the Emperor’s Birthday Reception in 2015 and given to VIPs and the press at the G7 Ise-Shima Summit in 2016. We are the only manufacturer that can produce this special type of packaging.

“Frame in Box” is a registered trademark of Ipax.This gift box can be offered in a number of combinations by customising the special PET sliding lid and by choosing from a wide variety of attachable paper panels. The glass-like thick PET lid is scratch-resistant and unrivalled for its surface smoothness and shine. It is possible to apply a 6ｍm depth concave-convex form to the surface. The lid adds a creative flair to a square box and gives a premium feel to the content.

“Heat-sealed package. The paperboard is coated with special food friendly varnish on the inside and is exclusively provided by us. The packaging can be closed by using heat-sealing. Remarkable example is a type of milk pack. The system allows for a wide variety of unique shapes and designs previously not possible. The ongoing operations are easy to handle as no other equipment than simple heat sealing machine is required. Double sided tape and seal end are not necessary. This system allows to realize shapes of package which have been thought to be impossible for product thought of packaging designer and also allows to broaden flexibility of product design which. This is the first ever system for paperboard package by heat sealing.

Back-open feature and boxed-in method patented.”We provide the integrated service for “”shrink in board”” box, putting your products into our box and setting it for display. We innovated the shrink board with a back-open feature that is unique and different from boxes from other brands. Products can be displayed properly or can be hanged for the nicer view. The products can be taken in and out easier. This innovation helps to lower the manufacturing cost.
The sensor on our machine can align the boxes and print the film on them automatically.”

You do need to stack paper tubes in a pyramid style and we have the answer for that. These paper tubes can be stacked vertically on top of each other. Because there is one layer of plastic on the bottom. This creates the stability on the upper and lower surface of each box and enables vertical yet stable stacking. Usually it will be costly to use tube type of box but paper can can help to reduce cost.

It is flattened to make it easier to form character boxes designed as animals like tigers, cows, pandas etc. As it is flattened, the amount of space taken to store the boxes is reduced. It has a handle for carrying, and there are two lids to form a paper tin. There are four ‘legs’ to refrain the box from rolling around.
